This site is nothing if not a gratuitous glorification of the diseases of the human mind. Not to mention the disgusting waste of valuable harddisk space on the ever-generous Tripod server farm.
It's been an interesting experience updating the ol' website, for more than one reason;
Firstly, the obligatory 'gee things sure have changed': It's odd to see how much exuberance I had, despite having recently quit smoking pot and cigarettes and attempting to quit drinking as well. I can only assume that it was a feigned attempt at socially acceptable behavior, purely for my own amusement.
Secondly: Well, there is no 'secondly'. It's just odd to see how much things have changed, without changing much in the process. At the time this site was published, I was basically homeless, living with a friend and his parents out in Sanger. Now, I've got my own apartment, in Clovis, with a loving girlfriend and a certifiably insane roommate. Isn't that The Amercan Dream? I've even got a new car to share with said female and a decent amount of food for consumption. Things aren't great. But, better.
How's the ol' brain weathered these changes? Not well. Despite having quit the green stuff, the ol' short-term memory's taken a few too many hits to the jaw. Not saying that has anything to do with past drug use; In fact, if I had to guess, I'd blame it on the adverse mental effects of having to grow-up and take responsibilty for myself, my commitments, and my commitment to others.
Is it all for the worse? No. For the better? Surely. Does it make me happy? Apparently not. But, I'm sane. Probably.

Guns aren't toys. They are eating utensils, remote controls, shims for uneven table legs, pacifiers for teething babies, cool accessories for a night on the town, and a clever replacement for the standard dentist's drill.
Oh, who am I kidding? They're toys, too!
10-21-01: 5:23am - No sleep yet. Insomnia makes for productive web-work, yeah?
11-03-01: 4:05am - Added a few worthless things, including a forums page and a guestbook...great.
11-23-03: 3:31pm - Added a couple of pix of my new car. Realized guestbook and forums no longer function after two years of idling. Shrugged.
11-25-03: 12:32am - Completely updated almost everything on the site, excluding some graphics. Mainpage updated. Info page updated. 'Amusement' and 'My Li'l Focus' pages added. Bottom scratched.
If you're bored, might I recommend that you visit the 'Amusement' portion of the site? I suggest this simply because you'd have to be bored our of your mind - emphasis on the 'out of your mind' - to get any enjoyment out of the way I spend my spare time.
